what we do

The ISD provides mission information systems and systems components, and expertise in all phases of mission implementation. To further support our customers and maintain our expertise we provide leadership and vision in identifying, developing and/or sponsoring advanced and emerging information systems technologies.

The Information Systems Division (ISD) is part of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, organizationally located in the Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate. Over 300 ISD civil servants and their private sector partners collaborate with the science mission projects, science community and other customers to meet their information systems and technology needs.
